Mallee District Aboriginal Services
Farewell to Aunty Ceno!
Ceno Biles is retiring from MDAS after a long and distinguished service. We wish Aunty Ceno all the best in her retirement and look forward to continuing to work with her as one of our Community Elders (Pillars) and as an advocate on behalf of Community.
Thank you Aunty Ceno, and best wishes from all at MDAS.
Mallee District Aboriginal Services is an organisation that has provided support, information and advice to Koori people and their families for more than 30 years.
Known also as the Mildura Aboriginal Corporation, we provide more than 50 essential services from our health and family services centres in Mildura, Swan Hill and Kerang. With about 150 staff, we provide services for a potential client population of nearly 5000 people in NSW and Victoria.
This website is an initial point of contact for information, but direct and personal advice should be a priority. You can do this by contacting us by phone or email or by visiting any of our offices.
Client confidentiality is assured in your interractions with our medical, health and support services, and our medical consultations and allied health services are bulk-billed, with no out-of-pocket expenses for Koori clients.
Our opening hours are Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-4pm.
Mallee District Aboriginal Services is building strong and culturally-proud communities for now and investing in our next generation.
We are walking the lines between Koori culture and non-indigenous Australia and providing services and leadership to break cultural barriers that keep our races apart.
Mallee District Aboriginal Services has just delivered its first annual report. You can download it here.
