The role:

The role of General Practitioner is primarily to compliment much needed services aimed at improving the health of local people within Buronga NSW and its region to address health needs and promote wellness.  This care will be based on latest evidence and guidelines, meet legislative requirements and includes diagnoses, treatment and ongoing monitoring. 

As a General Practitioner of a new Health Service you will be working within a multidisciplinary team including Nurses, Allied Health workers, Pathologists, Health Workers, and Community Workers.  Our clinics use computerised Clinical Information Systems (Best Practice) and evidenced based guidelines to underpin care.  Your role is to ensure that all service delivery is culturally appropriate and welcoming to all members of the Sunraysia Community, including the provision of case management for patients with complex and chronic conditions.
