MDAS Human Resources

The role:

The Kinship Reunification Program provides up to 200 hours of intensive family services for the reunification of Aboriginal children and young people, following kinship placements. This includes providing case management, assessment, casework, and a range of counseling and group work services to children and families referred by the Department of Health and Human Services. The program’s primary goals over this timeframe are to work with families to build their capacity, which will help reduce contact with Child Protection, further prevent Indigenous children and young people entering the out of home care system and to assist children to be re-unified and remain in their family’s care or extended members within community.
